Questions, answered.

Most of these come from people who've never tried assisted stretching before. The Flexibility Foundation — 90 minutes, $85 — is the entry point for every new client with Chelsea, and it's where the real questions get answered in person.

Common questions about assisted stretching and what to expect at your session.

Common Questions

Wear comfortable, stretchy clothing — think yoga pants, leggings, or athletic shorts and a t-shirt. Avoid jeans, belts, or anything restrictive. You'll be moving through various positions, so comfort is key.

Not at all! Assisted stretching is for everyone — athletes, desk workers, new parents, and anyone who wants to feel better in their body. Every session is tailored to your current range of motion and goals.

Massage focuses on soft tissue manipulation to relieve muscle tension. Assisted stretching actively moves your joints and muscles through their range of motion to improve flexibility, mobility, and body awareness. They complement each other beautifully.

For best results, we recommend starting with weekly sessions. As your flexibility improves, many clients transition to every other week for maintenance. We'll build a plan that fits your goals and schedule.
